SURROUNDINGS
We are located on the beautiful Golf Course property ... and share a common driveway with them.
FOUR SHEETS
We have FOUR sheets of ice in our rink, which means that we can accomodate upto 32 players at a time out on the ice.
COMFORTABLE LOUNGE
Our Lounge is the envy of many another curling club.
Our lounge is spacious with lots of very comfortable seating.
FULL KITCHEN
We have a full commercial kitchen. In this picture our Chef Terry Donovan and his crew prepare a meal for over 100 guests.
WELL STOCKED BAR
We have a well appointed and well stocked bar. The bar is run by volunteers to help keep the prices down.
RINK VIEW
The Lounge being one full story above the rink has excellent viewing of the play "the other side of the glass" out in the rink.
SOCIAL LIFE
Typical for most curling clubs in Ontario, our club boasts an active social life "off the ice". It's a great place to find new friends!
AMENITIES
Wide hallways connect between the rink and comfortable changing rooms (which even have showers!)
EQUIPMENT PROVIDED
The club provides absolutley everything a new curler might need to play the game.
All you have to bring is loose, warm and comfortable clothing!
See the brooms for members' use in a rack on the wall behind Ryan in this picture.
INSTRUCTION PROVIDED
Within our ranks we have an above average number of OCA (Ontario Curling Association) trained and qualified instructors and coaches thanks to our club having hosted OCA "Level One Coach/Instructor" courses TWICE in the past five years.
JUNIORS & YOUTH
We have a very active Junior and Youth Program. In this picture one of our senior instructors, John Willemsma, is giving sweeping instruction to three Juniors on a Sunday afternoon. We have players in our club that range in age from five years old to almost ninety. Curling at our Club is truly an activity for the WHOLE FAMILY.
